TV Turnoff Posters
Challenge your work or classmates to get out of the box for a week! Download our TV Turnoff 2009 poster from the links at the top of this page, print it out and make photocopies. Put them up in the kitchens, cafeterias, pubs and train stations. Stick them over any poster for a TV show! Make people curious about the life they're missing. (You'll need Adobe Acrobat.)

Help build the Pre-TV Generation Archive
White Dot is compiling an archive of the last pre-TV generation, and we need your help. This TV Turnoff Week we are asking everyone, especially children, to speak with older adults and ask them about life before television. It's the world where all of humanity lived for millions of years and we have a great deal to learn from its last inhabitants.

Download our activity sheet for your kids or your classroom. (You'll need Adobe Acrobat.) Ask people what games they played, how they met with friends and what the streets were like before we all went inside and got boring. Then type their answers into our online archive, here.
